Abstract :
A silver-wire nanocavity with CdSe quantum dots (QD) is optimized towards cavity-QED by varying cavity length and QD-wire distance. QD-plasmon coupling, enhancement of spontaneous emission and group velocities in the nanocavity of vG~0.5c are observed.
