Abstract
It is shown in the work that the autocorrelation LCI method have either advantages or drawbacks. The most important of disadvantages are the impossibility of object inner structure reconstruction without prior information and low intensity of the signal because of absence of reference beam. The advantages of the method over conventional LCI are non restriction of the distance to the object and that the distance may be changed during the measuring. Possibility of using the method in case of scattering tissues and biomedical samples are shown in the work.
