This paper analyzed a terminal demultiplex of the Chinese Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB) system, using finite automata principle, proposed a method to solve a problem caused by error data stream for terminal demultiplex process. In the method, classified the error data-code stream which was received by terminal, summarized some states for all kinds error data-code stream, and gave all sorts of conversion conditions between different states, designed a finite automata. After using C to implement, it is not only to see the finite Automata can good deal with the error data-code stream received by terminal, but also it can reduce the complexity when system carries on error processing, and the system upgrade is very convenient.
