Abstract :
This paper describes the structure of a automatic machine for opening apricot-core, including feed tray, guiding slot 1, clamping and transportation belts, cutting mechanism, guiding slot 2 and collection holder. And this paper focus mainly on the clamping and transportation belts´s design and optimization. Based on the past physics character data of almond and the structure of opening almond machine, we have done the stress analysis and deformation analysis of clamping and transportation belts using Ansys software. Identified the basic dimensions and clamping force of the clamping and transportation belts. Optimized the overall structure of the fully automatic machine for opening almond.
