Abstract :
Results of experimental EHD (electrohydrodynamic) instability studies on glycerine caused by high voltage pulses are presented. Space-charge-region formation and flow indication were based on the temperature dependence of conductivity and refraction index. This made it possible to register the EHD instability by an optical method at the early period of formation. Results of delay time measurements are compared with well-known theoretical estimations
