Abstract :
According to the present problem that the motion control system of stepper motor use the structure of micro controller unit (MCU) and complex programmable logic device (CPLD). This method has some disadvantages such as high cost and complex circuit. To improve these problems, the stepper motor control system based on Nios II is developed. The FPGA is the core of the system and Nios II is created in its internal. Nios II implements the function of the speed control and interpolation algorithm and the communication between the computer and FPGA. The system has characteristics of small size, high integration, high stability and flexibility.
