Abstract :
The harmonic characteristics of multiple fundamental frequency HVDC systems has been studied with an ideal model. A new kind of harmonics has been found, which is named sub-characteristic harmonics in this paper, and the concept of dominant sub-characteristic harmonics has been proposed, which can be easily used to describe the harmonic transform characteristics of multiple fundamental frequency HVDC systems
