Abstract
The paper presents the results of bistatic RCS measurement for some real objects like an aircraft. The distance between the transmitting and the receiving sights of a bistatic radar is 495 km and the free space measurements were carried out in the 160, 850 and 3000 MHz frequency bands. The experimental data confirmed that the RCS at forward scattering is bigger than in the monostatic case by 30-40 dB depending on frequency band
