Abstract :
The face of Europe has changed tremendously not only politically but also in the fields of calibration and testing, and as time progresses there will be greater interaction between EC member states with standardisation on testing and calibration techniques giving the ability for a manufacturer (with a National Accreditation) to certify his product(s) for any EC nation. Bodies such as NAMAS are playing vital roles in establishing workable solutions to multilateral agreements, which will hopefully lead to a more harmonised Europe
