  • Abstract
Based on the retrospect to the development history of faults diagnosis of rotating machinery located in noninertial reference frames, this paper summarized the research achievements, the development actualities and the prospect of rotor system, especially in the areas of dynamic modeling and analyzing, bearing dynamics, stability analysis, fault inspection and diagnosis, nonlinear vibration, bifurcation and chaos. The dynamical characteristics of multiple faults in above systems are different with those in rotor systems situated in inertial systems. The new research directions in cross subjects are suggested.
