Abstract :
Firstly, this article compares the properties of two fashionable frequency synthesizers: the phase-locked frequency synthesizer and the analogue direct frequency synthesizer. It analyses the main problems of the direct microwave frequency synthesizer and offers some solutions according to the actual radar conditions. Secondly, it proves the correctness of the theoretical analysis through examples. Lastly, it foresees the prospects of the application of the direct microwave frequency synthesizer
