Abstract :
Heterogeneous performance of the firms is explained by several different theories. Following the vein of the resource-based view, we expected to import intellectual capital theory to explain the firm performance. Intellectual capital, which is composed of human capital, structural capital, is the strategic assets, which seem to be related positively to firm performance. The result of empirical study showed a positive and significant role of intellectual capital in influencing the financial performance of the firm.
