Abstract :
With the increasing competition of communication industry, how to improve the economic efficiency of construction project has been a very urgent task for the communication construction enterprises. This article first posts the importance of cost control in communication construction project. Then further applications are integrated in the cost control of construction projects to Taizhou project department in the sample enterprise, such as the method of entire procedure cost control and project portfolio management. In addition, the network planning techniques, cost variance method and cost analysis table method are used to make quantitative analysis in the cost control of construction. The conclusion is that the method of entire procedure cost control on individual project reduces 7.2% of the unit cost and the method of project portfolio management on multi-project reduces 5.4% of the total target cost. Cost control in construction projects is approved a possible way to reduce construction cost.
