Abstract :
A comparison of experimental and theoretical results for the bending sensitivity of our MCF is shown. In conclusion and to the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on a very large mode-area "truly" single-mode evanescent-field coupled multi-core fiber with acceptable bending sensitivity. The shown results clearly demonstrate the suitability of the proposed fiber for high-power beam delivery systems.
