Abstract :
A new measuring technique particularly suited to the measurement of low loss waveguide lines is described. Some measured results which employ this new technique are given for the 
transmission loss with two inch improved waveguide. Both the average loss and the random fluctuations over the 50-90 kmc band are low. The observed data obtained with long lines, one of solid copper and one all-helix waveguide, is presented.
