Abstract
The paper aims to state the consolidated aspects of the problem of power system harmonic costs and, overall, the large field of opened questions. Given the relevance of the problem, certainly more pronounced in the future, it is recommended to contribute in clarifying several items of the power quality (PQ) cost. This is the needed step to seriously consider an inclusion of harmonic cost evaluation procedures as guidance in the relevant standards
