Abstract :
The paper studies effects of regional structure on China´s carbon emission intensity from production share, energy intensity and energy structure of different regions, using the refined Laspeyres decomposition method based on Kaya identity. The results show that the impact of gross regional product is relatively small but energy intensity can significantly reduce carbon emission intensity with a trend of gradual increase. Moreover, the effect of energy structure is characterized by fluctuation during the whole study period, with no obvious trend.
