"Filter" design of waveguide array antennas

Abstract :
We present two contributions in the area of waveguide array antennas. The first is an efficient full wave analysis technique, the second is an alternative approach for the array design which is based on microwave filter concepts. Using the software developed, and following the alternative design approach, two different designs are shown indicating how the alternative viewpoint introduced on indeed produce arrays with very good performance.
