Abstract :
As the nonlinear characteristic of self-anchored suspension bridges is very obvious in cable system, and cable curve has a great influence on the internal force of the structure, the analysis of cable curve and the determination of finished state of self-anchored suspension bridge have become a difficulty in the design. The main purpose this paper is providing a solution to these problems. Taking Qingdao Bay single-tower self-anchored suspension bridge as an example, the final stage and initial stage of the line-types of main cables are both analyzed, via using a spatial model. First, a simplified cable model is established to achieve the original geometrical line-type of the cable and the horizontal tension of cables. Then the calculation is analyzed accurately, followed by iterative calculation based on the result of the first stage until convergence. After building a model in the finished state, the internal force of main cables and hangers, as well as the spatial coordinates of main cables will be obtained. Therefore, the initial internal forces of each part of the structure will be calculated.
