Abstract
Nowadays there is an increasing need for broadband wireless communication systems. Designing digital communication systems requires dedicated simulation approaches with an emphasis on the multipath propagation channel. Different approaches for overcoming the problem of multipath propagation have been made. Channel equalization has been an interesting research field and techniques like SDMA and diversity have become a focus of attention. A statistical channel model is presented which allows one to take the antenna characteristics into account. Simulation results to demonstrate the functioning of the model are presented
