Abstract
Development strategies in the central China has brought unprecedented opportunities and challenges for Wuhan city circle of development. In order to investigate the sustainable development modal of Wuhan "1+8" city cluster area, this paper analyzes the development of Wuhan "1+8" city cluster area by using three theoretic views (i.e. system view, non-additive law, and utility maximization law) based on the holistic views of complex scientific management community. Finally, this paper proposes a development model for integrating "1+8" city cluster areas into a powerful development engine of central China.
