Abstract :
Merits and defects of note-based video retrieval and content-based video retrieval are investigated in this paper, and complementarity of two aspects each other are also discussed. A new theory of semantic processing in content-based video retrieval is explored. An object-oriented representation modeling of the video semantics, based on the multi-layers, is presented. And on this basis, a semantic extraction frame based on the multi-semantics is constructed.
