Abstract :
Constant on-time (COT) digital peak voltage (DPV) control of switching dc-dc converter is proposed in this paper. The COT-DPV control technique is investigated and compared with pulse width-modulated DPV (PWM-DPV) control technique by taking COT-DPV and PWM-DPV controlled buck converter in continuous conduction mode (CCM) as an example. The steady-state and transient performances of COT-DPV and PWM-DPV controlled buck converters are analyzed and compared in detail. The experimental results are given to verify the analysis results.
