Abstract
The presence of non-Gaussian and spatially non-homogeneous clutter makes the design of a CFAR processor for a millimeter-wave radar a difficult task. A processor based on the use of a clutter map is proposed. It is shown that when the clutter dominates the noise a CFAR condition is reached. In addition, the processor includes an anti-self masking logic
