  • Abstract
Simulation is an effective method to study pedestrian flow. In order to analyze the impact of weave area of building on pedestrian flow, taking advantage of simulation platform based on minimum cost algorithm to simulate uni-direction pedestrian flow and weave pedestrian flow at 60°, 90° and 120° in building. Volume, density, velocity and other feature parameters were obtained through simulation platform. Taking the capacity and journey time of uni-direction pedestrian flow and weave pedestrian flow to compare, the results showed that the capacity of weave area of pedesrian flow at 90° decreases most, and the delay of weave area of pedestrian flow at 120° is max.
