  • Abstract
    With the extensive application of pre-twisted beam in engineer structure, it is very important to carry out systematic analytical research of pre-twisted beam, put forward a dependable mechanics analysis model and the calculation theories. The paper carries on mechanical property based on small deformation assumption to get the displacement general solution, and verify its accuracy using ANSYS software. The paper indicates that the general displacement method is feasible, and the displacement of pre-twisted cantilever beam is larger than non-twisted beam, and the lateral displacements appearing, because of pre-twisted angle. At the same time, the presented general solution offers an accurate displacement interpolation model.
