Abstract
Vacuum glazing is a new energy-saving material; the damage of it is caused mainly by the tensile stress. Shape and parameters of support pillars are the key factors causing stress and deformation of glass. In this paper, stress distribution and parameters of vacuum glazing effect on stress and deformation have been researched according the Atmospheric effects using finite element method. The paper suggests that contact areas between support pillar deformed and glass are the key factors which affect forces and deformation of support pillars, also basis for shape options and preferential conditions for support pillars´ structure.
