Abstract :
In his paper a probability distribution model of instantaneous frequency (IF) is researched for sampling sequence of carrier signal in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel, and then the model is verified by the hypothesis test. The influence of the probability density distribution (pdf) is analyzed in the case of different sampling rate or different SNR. And based on the result of pdf analysis, an estimator based on extraction and reconstruction is proposed, then the performance of the algorithm is analyzed. This paper also discussed the condition that the IF is aliasing for the multi-carrier sampling signal, and then derived the limit formula. Simulation results verify the probability distribution model of IF.
