  • Abstract
    We propose in this article the use of linear turbo equalization schemes in which the equalizer coefficients, for the sake of complexity reduction, are switched between three vectors of coefficients previously calculated. Techniques for choosing the switching point are developed and evaluated. Simulation results of performance comparison against the MMSE equalizer proposed in [1] are also provided. It is shown that the schemes herein described perform close to the MMSE equalizer, despite being much less complex.
