Abstract
The long-distance pipeline construction of the third Shaanxi-Beijing Line project Plateau Liangshan zone demands a lot of elbows and bends. If Bends and elbows are not correctly measured, the condemnation rate will not high and many elbows remain. Therefore, it´s necessary to improve the measurement method according to the geographical conditions of site in the construction based on the traditional ways. For different conditions the measurement methods proposed are various. Thus the accuracy of the measured elbows and bends increases, the accurate measurement to reach allows the elbows and bends match the design well, ensure that no excessive amount of elbows and bends, improves work efficiency, and saves construction cost.
