Abstract :
This paper presents the design and implementation of moving objects detection system based on TMS320DM643 (DM643). It focuses on hardware design, algorithm design and system integration. A fast and effective moving objects detection algorithm adapted to DSP implementation based on the improved Gaussian Mixture Models is represented in the paper to enhance the precision and reliability of moving objects detection system. The experimental results demonstrate the reasonable stability and real-time effect of this detection system comparing to the moving objects detection system based on PC.
