Abstract
This document is an attempt to throw light upon the significant differentiating characteristics of the software focused supply chain (SFSC) as compared to the traditional supply chain. This paper presents the managerial challenges that are foreseen or currently exist in SFSC. A consolidated list of possible research issues in such supply chains is provided. These issues and challenges arise as a result of reviewing the work of the cited authors and others in various fields that are encompassed by the broader field of SFSC.
