Abstract :
The composite was prepared by injection molding of waste residue from paper mill and recycle polyethylene. In the composite, maleic anhydride grafted polyethylene (MAPE) was used as coupling agent. Influence of different weigh ratio of waste residue and MAPE on mechanical properties of the composites was studied. The test result was as follows: the weigh ratio of waste residue and MAPE coupling agent influenced evidently the interfacial compatibility. Flexual strength of the composite decreased significantly with the increasing ratio of waste residue and increased significantly with the increasing ratio of MAPE. Flexual strength of the composite filled waste residue was lower than that of the composite filled rice hull .Their rules of transformation were the same, so waste residue can be used to produce the composite like rice hull.
