Abstract :
The paper describes the `Training Needs of Trainers´ project which Glenrothes College managed as part of the Interactive Video in Industry and Further Education (IVIFE) programme; comments on the role which the IVIFE programme can play in developing the use of I/V in Scotland; discusses the barriers which have limited the uptake of I/V both in industry and colleges; and reviews the prospects for rapid growth in the use of I/V in Scotland in the next few years and comments on how this trend can be encouraged
