Abstract :
As the network grows fast to large scale and heterogeneity, the research on distributed network management becomes hot spot and development trend. We analysis the existing distributed network management technologies and find that they do make management model flexible and scalable. However, to deal with the configuration of so large and complex the distributed system adds much more burden to network operators and reduces the efficiency of management. One of the solutions to solve this operator-intensive problem is making the configuration of network node with domain and manager automatic in the beginning of management. Thus, we propose Management Location Service to implement the idea. Compared with the existing methods, it obviates the limitation of network division strategy and makes domain generated by both network address scope and device type.
