Abstract :
The availability of heavy metals in four kinds of sludge under the influence of different pH values are studied in the paper. According to the experiment results, the pH value has an important influence on the mobility and bioavailability of heavy metals in sludge. The lower the pH value of sludge is, the less heavy metals are absorped and the more they are released.
