Abstract :
Addresses some important topics in the development of efficient, flexible, general, intelligent and usable man machine interface (MMI) for telerobotic systems as well as the functional architecture according NASREM (NASA/NBS standard reference model for telerobot control system architecture). Particular emphasis is placed on the role played by knowledge based systems in the proposed MMI functional architecture
