Abstract :
In this paper, we proposed a more reliable and stable ad hoc routing method which includes Fuzzy concept for sea surface networks. There, moving sensors arc not installed fixed on off-shore structures and affected by the sea waves. That is, sensors deployed on sea surface are floating continuously and the distribution of sensors varies all the time. Therefore, we shall make some modifications on existing protocols by using fuzzy membership function to decide the best choice of routing path to meet the requirement of sea surface networks. Also, adjusting the transmission range of sensor nodes comes to a better compromise between increasing the chances of reaching neighbor nodes and decreasing the possibility of fail to complete the packet delivery process because of lack of power.
