Abstract
The existing research in wireless sensor networks premises sink movement based on random mobility. However, trajectories of sinks in practical applications, for example, soldiers (sinks) movement of a battle field, can be determined in advance. In this paper, we propose a predictable mobility-based communication paradigm that enables data to directly route from a source to moving sinks by exploiting prediction of sink trajectories. Also, we compare the predictable mobility-based communication paradigm with the existing dissemination protocols based on random mobility-based communication paradigm for performance evaluation and prove improvement of the predictable mobility-based communication paradigm with performance metrics.
