Abstract :
Describes the design and development of a diplexer with passbands DC-2 and 2-40 GHz. Two approaches to the design are outlined. The difficulties involved in covering such a wide bandwidth are explained and how practical solutions were found. It was proposed that the realisation use a single 2 GHz diplexer holding to 40 GHz. This design proved to be more successful as well as being a lot simpler to produce
