Abstract
Output Multiplexers (OMUXes) for satellite communications have, over the past few years, been increasing in complexity and performance. Systems are continually packing more channels within the allocated bands whilst maintaining stringent loss and pass band requirements. The contiguous nature of such requirements, however, tend to degrade the pass band performance so that larger variations of group delay and loss are produced, especially near the useable band edge.
