Abstract :
By the nonlinear finite element software MSC.MARC, this paper shows the numerical analysis on asphalt concrete pavement settlement owing to the buried pipes with 1m in diameter under the circumstances of different depths and different backfill Elastic modulus. On the hypothesis of the D-P nonlinear model of the pavement foundation and plane strain state, it can be found that the backfill Elastic modulus and the depths affect the pavement properties. The deeper the pipe is, the bigger the pavement surface settlement is for small backfill elastic modulus. The deeper the pipe is, the smaller the pavement surface settlement is for big backfill elastic modulus. The improvement of the compositive pavement foundation Elastic modulus can lower its deflection efficiently.
