Abstract :
In this paper the concept of providing safety and security in the Tricity sea harbors, in the context of the EURO 2012 was presented. Different aspect of monitoring and protection, including mechanical and sensor barriers (acoustic, magnetic, thermal, visual, optical (laser), mechanical etc.) was discussed. Moreover the underwater security systems, data collecting systems and data interfaces for communication with maritime security IT infrastructure and users were described.
