Abstract
The resonant frequency, Q-factor and the slot coupling of the re-entrant coaxial and combline structures have been studied by using rigorous numerical and analytical techniques. The validation and accuracy of the results are verified by experiments. A 6-pole iris coupled coaxial filter is designed and tested. Excellent frequency responses are obtained.
