  • Abstract
    In this paper a multi-language technique to simulate the behavior of a pneu-matic-driven flexible manipulator is proposed. The selected flexible manipulator has one degree of freedom. First, a way to interact between two programming languages is presented, by taking advantage of each language benefits in order to facilitate the development of a complex system simulation tool. Later, the ma-nipulator structure was developed using a CAD software, and then the VRML file was obtained and used as a description of the system. Next, Matlab perform the manipulator mechanism direct kinematics and C++ is used to show the re-sults with the help of the OpenGL graphic libraries.
