Abstract :
An X-band helix traveling wave tube (TWT) amplifier is designed, fabricated and tested. X-band helix circuit is designed by the use of the Sheath helix theory and HFSS code. A cold-test helix circuit is fabricated and tested to examine TWT dispersion characteristics and beam wave interaction impedance.
