Abstract :
LEC method is suit for all kinds of working conditions for it being simple and convenient. But the credibility of evaluation conclusion by LEC is low because the method is affected by subjective factors easily and is difficult to assign. In the paper, the LEC method is modified and improved after C is decided into five factors based on the composition of accident lose in construction sites and factors are given weights. The example application shows that the evaluation conclusion with modified LEC method coincides with the actual situation, so it can be used to evaluate the hazard source in construction sites.
