Abstract :
A new approach to constructing generalized intersection and union is introduced and the effects of these operations on the performance of the fuzzy logic controller have been investigated. These operations satisfy the axioms of T-operators, but they are nondecreasing only in (0,1)×(0,1). It is shown by simulation that these `almost´ T-operations are suitable in fuzzy controllers and also that they provide better performance for some plants
