Abstract :
The simulation system on the thermal stresses and fatigue life loss of the rotator during startup and shutdown for a domestic 600 MW steam turbo generator unit, By means of the analysis of simulation system on the thermal stress and life loss of the rotor, and we could know that the surface of the shaft was suffered a crushing stress, but it was a pulling stress when a unit shut down. The max thermal stress and the max combined stress produced on the rotor of the medium pressure cylinder was about 18% bigger than those on the rotor of the high pressure cylinder when they had the same increase rate of temperature. When thought from economics and safety, the optimal temperature-increasing-rate of the rotor is 1.8°C per minute when the generator start-up at cool state, and the optimal temperature-increasing-rate of the rotor is 2.0°C per minute when the generator start-up at hot state. When shut down the unit, it´s optimal for slipping-parameter, and the optimal temperature-decreasing-rate of the rotor is 0.8°C per minute.
