Title :
Automatic sectionalising links-a 1990 update
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
The automatic sectionalising link (ASL) is finding increasingly wide usage on UK overhead distribution systems. The general practice is to retrofit the ASL into existing expulsion fuse mounts at the head of spur lines. It is shown that the ASL appears to be a viable proposition wherever outages due to nondamage faults are a significant problem
